Directions to Kilcooley NS from Loughrea/Galway: (Approx. 7km)
Coming from Galway towards Loughrea, take the N66/Loughrea bypass.
At Fairfield roundabout, take the first exit (Portumna, Kilreekil, Ballinasloe) and stay on the N65 for 3km.
Turn right on the N65 at the Portumna/Killimor junction.
Stay on the N65 for 3.2km. (You will pass a left turn for Kilreekil and a right turn for Ballydugan/Woodford).
Kilcooley NS is on your left.
To Kilcooley NS from Portumna: (Approx 22.5 km)
Head Southwest on Clonfert avenue and take the N65 towards St Brendan’s road.
Continue to follow the N65.
Turn right onto St Brendan’s St/N65.
Follow the N65 for 22km.
(you will pass through Killimor Village and Gurtymadden/Tynagh crossroads).
Kilcooley ns is on your right.
To Kilcooley NS from Ballinasloe(Approx 24.5 km)
Head west on Dunlo Hill/R446 towards Harris rd for 1.8 km.
At Garbally roundabout take the second exit and stay on the R446 for 19.4 km.
(You will pass through the Aughrim Village, Cappataggle and Kilreekil village)
Turn left at junction for Portumna/Killimor, the N65
Drive for approximately 3.2km.
Kilcooley NS is on the left
